I am currently a first-year student at Yale University, seeking to major in economics yet also broadening my horizons and seeking to find other potential passions. I am part of the first generation of my family to have been born in the United States, and believe much of my success so far in life has been a result of the support I’ve received from the people closest to me. I seek to give that support to other motivated individuals, understanding that establishing connections and building personal bonds are essential to being happy and successful in the long run. I believe every motivated individual deserves an opportunity to achieve their full potential, regardless of their social class, ethnic/racial background, or gender.
I pride myself on being able to connect with people; I think that’s my the strongest aspect of my character, as well as my greatest passion. I love staying active through hobbies like playing baseball, going to the gym, or just throwing a frisbee around with friends. When it comes to competitive sports, don’t play me in ping pong unless you want the sauce. I’m a huge fan of jazz: saxophone is awesome, I’ve always had a passion for it and try to play as often as I can. Most importantly, I love enjoying myself as I go throughout life and continuing to smile. Life’s way too short to not enjoy what’s in front of you!
