Bio

I am currently a freshman studying economics at the University of Michigan. My passion for economics stems from my interest in business and appreciation for conceptual theory. I am also taking Japanese to eventually become trilingual, as I plan on pursuing a career involving international trade. In high school, was a three-season varsity athlete; although I played basketball my freshman year, I eventually also joined Cross Country and Winter/Spring Track. I was also president of the Science League, vice-president of Math League, editor of the Voice Literary Magazine, and a member of the National Honor Society.

Although my name is Kai, most people around Fort Lee know me as Kenny. I enjoy playing competitive Super Smash Bros and actually went to two tournaments last Summer (I main Diddy Kong but will probably play Cloud against you for optimal saltiness; hit me up if you ever want to play/money match me). In my free time, I enjoy writing, playing intramural basketball, and brushing up on piano to remind myself that my 7 years of experience have not gone completely to waste. In terms of music, I have a highly eclectic taste ranging in genre from classical to Indie to Rap to Jpop, as recently, learning Japanese has been one of my passions. I also love to eat – some of my favorite foods are sushi, ramen, and boujee hamburgers. My celebrity crush is Anne Nakamura.
