Hi! My name is Monica Jablonski, and I am currently a sophomore at Boston University, majoring in Psychology with a Biology minor. I have always had an interest in the human mind and I am particularly passionate about mental health and eradicating the stigma that surrounds mental health disorders. I am also on the pre-med track, as I hope to attend medical school in the future in order to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist. On campus, I am a part of an organization that provides food for the homeless population in Boston. I also volunteer as a mentor for high school students in Boston.
When I’m not studying organic chemistry, you can usually find me at the gym or out on a run. I like to spend my free time by falling down weird Youtube or Reddit rabbit holes and discovering new topics, ideas, and communities. I also really like learning new languages; I speak Polish and Spanish, and I’m looking to pick up a fourth language to start learning. I also just spent a semester abroad in Madrid, so you can be sure I’ll be slipping that into conversations for the next 5 years.
